Disclaimer: Aftercare information will be different from artist to artist, due to different styles, how we apply tattoos and personal preference.

After we finished your tattoo, I will wrap it in either glad wrap or saniderm / opsite (second skin)

CLING WRAP:

I advise to leave this on for 1-3 hours. After this time take the wrap off, have a shower and give your tattoo a good wash with a gentle soap and warm water. Do NOT exfoliate or use any rough surface against your tattoo in the healing process. After washing it off pat your tattoo dry with a clean towel.

Let your tattoo air dry out for the remainder of the day. Before bed I recommend to re-wrap your tattoo for the first night (to stop it sticking to your bed sheets and clothes) Make sure your tattoo is cleaned prior to re wrapping it. Use a small amount of cream and simply re wrap it in cling wrap. First thing in the morning take the wrap off and give it a good clean.

After this, cream your tattoo 1-2 times a day, with minimal cream for 6-10 days.

HOW LONG TILL I CAN SWIM:

I recommend at least 2 weeks until you swim, this includes salt water, fresh water and chlorine water.

What NOT to do’s:

  • do not exfoliate your healing tattoo

  • no fake tan until the tattoo is fully healed!

  • no sun-baking/getting sunburnt in general

  • i recommend to not having a sweaty gym session for 2-3 days afterward
